Few minor edits:

Amongst the core objectives of our Summit flagship event is the engagement of our attendees in a 3-night immersive experience. While many attendees reside in the greater Los Angeles area, we feel commuting to the DTLA event site is detrimental to the experience. Last year, the majority of people who purchased commuter tickets ended up approaching us close to the event or at the event itself to book a hotel room and stay closer to campus, at which point we were completely sold out of rooms. We strongly recommend booking a room on campus while we still have the availability.

However, we will make exceptions for those who reside within certain proximity to the event campus. In order to be eligible for a commuter ticket for Summit LA19, you must have documented legal ownership or lease of a residential property within the DTLA area, defined as the following zip codes:

We will make further exceptions in the following cases:

  • You or your spouse is pregnant and you reside within 1 hour driving distance of DTLA
  • You are parenting newborn(s) (children under the age of 1 year old) and you reside within 1 hour driving distance of DTLA

Please let us know if you meet these criteria and we will be happy to get you set up with a commuter ticket.
