Join us for an unforgettable journey as we venture into the heart of Venice, Italy for the renowned Venice Biennale.

This is the first Summit Membership “Field Trip.”

DATES:

June 14-18, 2024 (Arrival + Departure)

WHAT IS A SUMMIT FIELD TRIP?

Our “Field Trip” model is a series of Happenings curated in one place around a central experience. This is not a full excursion. Attendees are responsible for booking and managing their own lodging, transportation and meals. We will do our best to over communicate the details as always and provide booking recommendations.

JUNE 14 - OPTIONAL FOR ANYONE ARRIVING PRIOR

  • Suggested arrival.

  • Summit “Field Trip” evening cocktails and hang.

JUNE 15

  • Venice Biennale Giardini + Arsenale guided tour with Rachel Thomas and Thomas Rom.

  • Private evening exhibition viewing with curators.

  • Private Summit culinary experience and performance.

JUNE 16

  • Exclusive access and tour of official collateral exhibitions guided by Thomas Rom with guest contributors.

  • Private dance performance.

  • Choose-your-own-adventure dinner and nighttime flow - recommendations will be provided.

JUNE 17

  • Free flowing with suggested program of official collateral exhibitions. Sunset cocktails.

JUNE 18

  • Suggested departure.

CHIEF CURATOR OF THE HAYWARD GALLERY, RANKED THE #1 GALLERY IN THE UK Influential curator and writer Rachel Thomas will be leading us through the Venice Biennale sites for an exclusive insider view of the prominent installations.

Luca Bacchetti

RENOWNED DJ & PRODUCER

Often described as a storyteller, Luca’s music reflects his poetic way of seeing the world around him. In a private performance, Luca will share his diverse range of musical aesthetics and renowned ability to make seemingly distant worlds coexist on the dance floor.

Palazzo Corner Spinelli Private Collection

We will enjoy a rare private tour of Cathy Vedovi’s world class art collection housed in a magnificent 15th century palazzo. This collection is not open to the public.

Berggruen Arts & Culture

Explore an 11th century palazzo while viewing a one-off dance performance, originally commissioned by Works & Process at the Guggenheim and performed by the New York City Ballet’s principal dancer Adrian-Danchig Waring.

Thomas Rom

ART ADVISOR, CURATOR, WRITER, EDITOR, PHILANTHROPIST

Internationally renowned art advisor, impresario and cultural producer, Thomas Rom, will lead the group through an immersive curated program of events, exhibitions and specially produced experiences.

Tickets do NOT include:

  • Hotel accommodations, transportation to and from hotels or event venues, activities in between our hosted Happenings.

  • Most meals are not included. One dining experience included.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

This opportunity is reserved for Summit Members and their guests. To bring a guest, please purchase 2 tickets and send your guest’s details to membership@summit.co.

RECOMMENDED TRAVEL DETAILS

Recommended airport: Venice Marco Polo Airport.

We recommend arriving by the evening of Friday, June 14th.

We recommend departing on Tuesday, June 18th.

  • Offering a 10% discount on the Flexible Public rate and the Prepaid Public rate.

WHAT RESTAURANT(S) DO YOU RECOMMEND?

CAN I TRANSFER OR SELL MY TICKET TO ANOTHER SUMMIT MEMBER?

Summit Membership event tickets are not transferable.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

View the Summit Membership Paid Event Cancellation policy here. In the event that you need to cancel your Field Trip ticket, please provide at least 21 days notice by emailing membership@summit.co. The following cancellation guidelines apply:

  • If you cancel 21+ days prior to the event, we will convert 100% of the price you paid for your ticket into a future paid event credit.

  • If you cancel 3-20 days prior to the event, we will convert 20% of the price you paid for your ticket into a future paid event credit.

  • If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to the event, we will not be able to provide you with any future event credit and your ticket will be forfeited.

Summit Membership event tickets are not transferable. Summit Membership paid event credits can only be applied towards another Summit Membership event (Summit Series events do not qualify).
