We understand plans change, so we offer credits on a limited basis.

As of August 1, 2024, we will issue a credit according to the guidelines below.

If you purchased your ticket using a previously issued credit and need to cancel, we will reissue that credit back to your account and your credit will retain its original expiration date.

All event credits expire 1 year from the date of issuance.

Cancellation Credit Guidelines:

  • If you cancel 75+ days prior to the event, we will convert 100% of the price you paid for your ticket into a future event credit.

  • If you cancel 60-75 days prior to the event, we will convert 75% of the price you paid for your ticket into a future event credit.

  • If you cancel 30-59 days prior to the event, we will convert 50% of the price you paid for your ticket into a future event credit.

  • If you cancel 10-29 days prior to the event, we will convert 25% of the price you paid for your ticket into a future event credit.

  • If you cancel less than 10 days prior to the event, we will not be able to provide you with any future event credit and your ticket will be forfeited.

Event lineups are subject to change. Unfortunately, we cannot extend credits or refunds on cancellations requested due to lineup changes.

Summit + Spot Cancellation Coverage

As an alternative to the cancellation, change and credit policy outlined above, attendees can opt into cancellation coverage through Spot’s Cancel For Any Reason.

Cancel For Any Reason coverage costs 11% of your ticket purchase. You can opt into this additional coverage by adding Spot Cancellation Coverage to checkout as you complete your Summit event registration.

Overview of Coverage:

If you cancel your ticket on your own initiative, Spot will refund you a percentage of the protected amount listed in your confirmation email, based on the schedule below.

Spot Cancellation Refund Schedule:

  • Cancel 90+ days before the event: 100% refund value

  • Cancel 89-60 days before the event: 90% refund value

  • Cancel 59-30 days before the event: 80% refund value

  • Cancel 29-11 days before the event: 70% refund value

***Please note Spot’s Cancel For Any Reason will not cover cancellations less than 11 days before the start of the event.

Canceling Your Ticket with Spot:

As always, please notify Summit of your cancellation by emailing hello@summit.co.

To utilize your Spot coverage, you must also notify Spot directly by completing this form. Neglecting to submit Spot’s form may result in your coverage being impacted. Summit is not responsible for submitting a claim on your behalf.

Visit Summit + Spot Cancellation Coverage for full details and terms.

Travel Insurance

For additional protection, we encourage attendees to purchase travel, medical, and/or trip cancellation insurance. For example, some of the most popular travel insurance providers are Allianz, GeoBlue and Travel Guard. The attendee’s credit card or employer may also provide certain coverage.
